About
Morten Modin is a Copenhagen-based visual artist working across sculpture, relief, installation and public art. Using 3D scanning, digital modelling and 3D printing alongside more tactile and process-based methods, he creates works that explore friction between technological systems and human experience. His practice connects questions of body, identity, memory and material transformation, and includes both exhibition-based work and collaborative public projects
He has exhibited at ARoS, Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Kunsthal Kongegaarden, and Bærum Kunsthall, and has presented solo exhibitions in Denmark, Norway and Finland. He is the recipient of the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Sculpture Prize for Young Talents and has received grants and production support from the Danish Arts Foundation. He lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
